This C2PC establishes portable category SAR conditions for the ASUStek models GU405, GU405AP, GU405AM Notebook PC. The highest reported Body and Simultaneous SAR values are 0.80 W/kg and 1.44 W/kg, respectively.

This C2PC adds portable for full power and 3 different additional SKU versions of the product that are electronically identical but have different power profiles.

Power Output listed is EIRP. The first five rows above are for LPI mode and the remaining rows are for Standard mode. Modular Approval filing. Device is a 2 x 2 MIMO configuration, enabled for 6 GHz operations as described in this filing. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not transmit simultaneously with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product procedures. Grantee must provide installation and operating instructions for complying with FCC multi-transmitter product procedures. Only those antenna(s) tested with the device or similar antenna(s) with equal or lesser gain may be used with this transmitter. End-users and installers must be provided with transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. This device supports 20, 40, 80,160, and 320 MHz BW modes.

Power Density and SAR testing was performed to demonstrate portable RF compliance for the PIFA antenna for each distance/SKU. This module is approved in portable configurations with PIFA reference antenna (4.88 to 5.02 dBi).

For 40mm SKU: The highest reported Body and Simultaneous SAR values are 0.68 W/kg and 1.55 W/kg respectively.

The additional SKU/power profiles determine conditions based on modular stand-alone SAR evaluation to establish the minimum antenna to user separation distances (5mm, 8mm and 11mm) at a maximum SAR value less than 0.8W/kg(1g) for mixed mobile/portable conditions according to KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 and KDB 616217 D04 for Laptop and Tablets v01.

SKU 5 mm: The highest reported Body and Simultaneous SAR values are: 0.80 W/kg and 1.44 W/kg respectively.

SKU 8 mm: The highest reported Body and Simultaneous SAR values are: 0.80 W/kg and 1.57 W/kg respectively.

SKU 11mm: The highest reported Body and Simultaneous SAR values are: 0.80 W/kg and 1.59 W/kg respectively.

This filing meets MPE requirements of KDB 447498 and can be used in mobile configurations for the following reference This filing meets MPE requirements of KDB 447498 an antenna(s): PIFA reference antenna (4.88 to 5.02 dBi), Dipole reference antenna (4.49 to 5.02 dBi) and Monopole reference antenna (4.79 to 4.91 dBi). The minimum gain approved with the UNII-5 to UNII-8 bands is -2.0 dBi.

CC: This device is certified pursuant to two different Part 15 rules sections.
EP: Output power is Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP)
MO: This Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) device was evaluated for multiple transmitted signals as indicated in the filing.
